What do you think of these girl names?

1. Leilani - A beautiful name. It sounds exotic and reminds me of Hawaii. It is definitely an option for my future daughter.

2. Maya - Cute, simple and sweet but not exactly my taste

Think about the nicknames that would result from teasing. Leilani might work in the islands; I also know it was popular in Germany for a long time. But the "lay" part could be a problem in the teenage years.

Maya is not one I would choose but seems to have the least variations to mess with except for "my a..".

Hate the name Leilani, but that was because I knew a girl with that name who always smelled like pee. She was like 12 too. She was a gross girl. Maya makes me think of the cartoon Maya the bee.

Personally, My favorite would be Leilani. :)
