Should all TIPS is a restaurant be equally shared with all workers ?
Pay the waiters and waitresses a proper wage then divide the TIPs among all the workers equally.
Cooks, dishwasher, busboy... ect.
I don't like having to TIP this person who just shows up, for the pleasure of her company some large amount of money while everyone else in the restaurant earns jack all. The system is very unfair and waiters/waitresses should be very grateful.

Do you think waiters/waitresses get rich on tips? When I was a waiter not too long ago the cooks made more money than I did (not just me, all the servers).
The cooks are not taking care of your every need, they are cooking food. It doesn't make sense to tip the cooks because they have no interaction at all with the customers.
Following your reasoning, you should tip fast food workers also. Think about that next time you go to McDonalds, or Wendy's. How are they different from a cook at a higher class restaurant?

As a former server, we DO tip out the busboys. Dishwasher makes minimum or above and usually cooks make decent money without getting the tips. Besides once the food is done and on the table, they are done w/ that guest where as a server has to keep checking back, refilling drinks, getting any sides, payment, coffee, getting drinks from the bar for them, etc.
I also wouldn't want to split my tips along other servers either because it was given to me. I could have worked 10x harder than them and they don't deserve my tips. Also vice versa. If I had an off day, I wouldn't deserve my tips.
Now, the busboy is different. If he is working really hard, I would give him more than the minimum requirement. he is working hard to get my tables cleared so I can have another guest sit down at that table.

I do not think they should be split. I give tips depending on how the service was. It isn't fair to the people who are outgoing and helpful that have to share money with people who aren't in that role. Plus waiters get paid less because that is the compensation for the rest of their wages.

In my opinion, the waiter or waitress should recieve their own tips. The tips that their customers leave them, they should get. Some waitresses are more helpful and caring then others and should get what they deserve. an unhelpful waitress shouldnt get paid for what a good waitress did!! thats my opinion! hope i helped

No....
Ea. one should be able to get the tips they earned...due to the fact there are some lazy folks on every staff! Most of the time I make sure my husband or myself hand the tip to our waiter/waitress personally.

If the provider is fantastic, then they could desire to obtain a typical tip. If provider became above and previous your expectancies you could desire to provide a extra suitable tip. in the event that they did some thing terrible to you mutually as serving you, they shouldn't get a tip. yet if so, i could additionally communicate to a supervisor approximately them.

No those servers who hussle and give their customers good service should make more in tips than those who don't. That's why the current system works.

no way. i hate crappy servers. they dont deserve to take tips from someone who works harder than them.
also, wouldnt it take away from morale? i know if i were a good server and got the same pay as some moron who cant even kep a drink filled, id be pissed. i might slack off a little.
