Why do EVIL liberals like Oprah and Angelina Jolie spend so much time helping those in need?

Although I am a civil libertarian and nothing like a modern liberal. But when it comes to charity and civil liberties and peace I am right there with these two ladies! My beliefs allow me to cross party lines and see the good in all where it is deserved!

These 2 people actually practice what they preach unlike most.

Hmm....They're giving money to buy food and relocate people. Dollars to clean up the environment too. Sounds good on the surface. But where's the incentive for all those people they "help" to then go out and help themselves. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for helping people who need it. But I think a caveat of giving cash is that it should be a limited thing. Once, twice tops. Then they have to get jobs like everyone else. If you keep giving handouts, why would they ever put their hands back in. Money doesn't solve most of the problems: education does.

Ideally, that's what conservatives want; for people to learn how to support themselves. It doesn't always happen when they get into power, but that's the ideal

Oprah does some wonderful humanitarian work and maybe Ms. Jolie does as well. But unless it's followed through with a policy of education towards self-sufficiency, it's usless. Even relocating someone doesn't really help them unless they are taught how to thrive in the new location.

The liberal ideal is to help people by giving them money. The problem is they want everyone else to help whether or not they want to. So they try to get laws and regulations passed to force everyone to help as much as the Liberal himself does, and in the same way.

Silly you! Because they are Liberals...they conscientiously know that everyone deserves the same human rights as people have here in the U.S. Those "EVIL" people think that the pie of the world should and can be shared and not horded by the few. Helping people in need does a lot to make liberals time on this Earth worth while...existing and winning the monopoly game just doesn't cut it for them.

those two are just in it for the publicity, there are many more celebrities who do much more for society than those two.

And everyone loves Oprah and Angelina Jolie. Perhaps those two just like people thinking they're good people. Maybe they are trying to compensate for something.

EDIT - I was also thinking....I haven't done research on this...but I'd like to find out what these charitable studies are all about...if they only take into account total amount of donated money, then perhaps there simply more wealthy conservatives out there. But if they are saying that there are more Republican people that donate...then that's a more important issue.

I asked about Angelina Jolie for president once. It was funny cause someone answered with how she was married more than once and blah blah blah... Then they said McCain 08 in their sources.

Clearly, their only wish is to stifle initiative and foster a relationship of dependency.

Why do people assume that conservatives aren't generous and help those in need? Actually, studies have shown that conservatives are more generous than liberals. Link below. Go figure.

There are plenty of white kids in this country that need help. You call them hillbillies and rednecks. You hate poor white people because they don't have the same views as you do. Therefore, you fawn over anyone that is poor and not white like all the liberal elites in Hollywood.
