I may have Multiple Personalities.?

My doctor has prescribed Risperidone and Lexapro, I think he believe's I have either Schizophrenia or Manic Depressive disorder. I was once thought to have Borderline Personality Disorder.

Update:

Vacc very good advice, get active do things. Get out there and produce.

Update 2:

The person who recommended me to the doctor thought I had Dissociative Identity Disorder. I am not one to believe that medication will cure me. I am one who looks for the sure, to cure it helps to understand what one has to know what ones needs.

Go Medicinal Herbs and Plants!

Update 3:

Maybe the medication would lover my symptoms.

All 3 of those have many of the same symptoms. They are very hard for a dr to diagnose one especially when most of your symptoms over lap. ....I have bipolar and have very clear symptoms so was much easier to diagnose, but that is not what is typical. As long as your Dr is working to help get the symptoms under control, dont worry so much about what name goes on it. Things may become more clear by how you respond to treatment, but even if they never put a name on it, but they get the symptoms under control, then you are better off. And if he hasnt stated what he thinks you have, he may be just doing that, treating the symptoms thaty you have that need to be treated.

No it has nothing to do with multiple personalitys, just the diagnosing mental illness is tricky.......look at typical borderline symptoms and typical bipolar symptoms.....they are very similar.

Keep seeing your dr. Get second or third opinions. If you haven't, seek out a mental health therapist. If you are religious join a church and be active in it. and above all pray and have faith in Jesus Christ.
