How can I get a prescription for certain exotic teas.?
If I ask for one, how would it work. Pjarmacies don't do that so would the insurance company even cover it.

please be aware and careful of taking any kind of exotic tea. You just never really know whats in it, where its made or how its made. FDA is not in the loop on this at all . you are throwing the dice

You can ask your doctor (or any doctor) to prescribe it for you... but that doesn't mean your insurance will cover it. Whether your doctor is willing to write a prescription for it or not, insurance doesn't have to cover items that are available over-the-counter (which any herbal tea will be). If you're just trying to bring your price down on buying this tea, then sorry I don't have an answer you'd like to hear, but I hope I helped.
