Do you think Playboy is explicit?

it's mild compared to stuff that's out now. it's like rated r compared to the stuff that's out now.

Playboy hasn't been considered explicit for some time. When it first came out, it was the first of it's kind, but these days, it's mild. Penthouse and Hustler are both far more explicit. Playboy doesn't do many "spread" shots, and is famous for photoshopping certain parts to make them look less dirty. Hef's motto is "nice girls like sex too", so it makes sense that these women aren't porn stars, they are normal girls with other things going for them (families, jobs, school) that happened to pose. Most other magazines hire adult stars to pose.

It's explicit compared to Cosmopolitan, but not explicit compared to Hustler or Girls Gone Wild.
