  • What kind of whiskey should I ask for?

I'm not a big drinker, but I have enjoyed most all the whiskeys that I've ever had. What kind should I ask for as a nice Christmas gift from my parents? I prefer something smooth, like the trial size of Crown Royal Select I bought over the weekend. Any specifically I should ask for? Thanks!

  • What is the best way to get to Phoenix International Raceway?

I'm coming from Tucson and I don't know if I should take I-10 all the way to Avondale or if it would be better to take the back-roads via Riggs Rd. Thanks!

  • Homosexuals riots in CA?

Let me say first off that I voted NO on Prop 102, which passed and banned Gay Marriage in the state of AZ on Tuesday. With that out of the way, I have a couple of questions about the riots in California. I have nothing against Gay Marriage, and I have no problem with them sharing a title with the Straight majority. However, how do you feel about these riots? I think they should respect the fact that Californians spoke (as Arizonans) and rejected Gay Marriage. What do you think? I also think they should be grateful they live in a country that doesn't persecute you if you live that kind of life style.

  • Are my dogs safe in my backyard?

I have a black Toy Poodle and a gray Yorkie Poo, both about 10lbs. We recently moved outside of town in a rural area of the Arizona desert. I have spotted hawks on my way to work off the interstate, but never anything larger than a raven in the vacinity. There is nothing but desert behind us, though our yard is about 45'x30' and is blocked off by a 6' solid wall. Should I fear hawks and owls mistaking the pooches for food, or can they even see them in the yard? Lot's of internet research returned little. Right now we are outside with them to keep an eye out for other dangers (found a tarantula in the back yard on Wed.), but will either my wife or I be enough to keep watchful eyes and ears away?

***We don't have any natural disasters in AZ, just Rattlesnakes, Scorpions, Black Widows, Tarantulas and such to watch for (all of which I've seen near our new home)***

  • Do you think Playboy is explicit?

Of all the awful things you can now find on the web, is Playboy all that bad? Our society already has accepted the "Girls Next Door" and the magazine usually only has a couple pictorals in it. What do you think?

  • It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - favorite episode?

There all so good... but I think I can narrow them down to one per season:

"The Gang Finds a Dead Guy" (Season 1)

"Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom" (Season 2)

"Dee Dates a Retarded Person" (Season 3)

So, what's your favorite episode of the best show on TV?

  • How old is the average commercial airplane?

I think our aviation industry is a joke when it comes to departures and arrivals, but it is near perfect in its safety. I understand that they're serviced frequently, but on average, how old is that typical 737 with its fresh paint and new seats? Thanks!

  • How hooked is your wife/girlfriend to the Twilight series? Should I read them?

My wife was told to read the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer from a female coworker. She has read all three books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse) and can't wait for the next one, which comes out next month, and the movie that comes out later this year. She has since spread this virus to all of her friends and it's pretty pathetic. So, have you gone through this as well? And if you have read the series, should I read it? I'm not into fantasy stuff, but I'll read anything that is well-written. Thanks for your answers!

  • What movie is this?

I was thinking of a movie recently, but I can't remember what the title is. It's about a teenage boy who, I think has athsma, and constantly has visions about a martial arts expert, Chuck Norris if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, that's about all I remember. Film is from the late '80's to early '90's. Thanks.

  • Are you a Libertarian? Take a (short) quiz?

America has a third party that is groing very fast, the Libertarian Party. However, most people don't know that they have strong Libertarian beliefs. This quiz is very short and is designed to show you where you stand when it comes to general politics. Post your scores below (if you wish).

  • 1999 Suzuki GS500E Gasoline?

I just purchased a '99 GS500 and I was trying to find out if it needs 87 or 91 octane. I'm going to put a lot of freeway miles on it so if it needs only 87, will it be OK to put 91 in it?

  • Bush's Texas ranch more environmentally friendly than Gore's Mansion?

It bothered me that Al Gore drove a full-sized Cadillac when he filmed An Inconvenient Truth a couple of years ago, but it really bothers me that his mansion uses more than 20 times the energy that a typical American home. Snopes.com goes as far as stating that President Bush's ranch is more environmentally friendly (http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/gorehome.a... Looking past the Cadillac in the film, and the insane amount of fuel he burns while using his private jet, do you find it ubsurd that he uses our precious rescources the way that he does?

***Please no Bush bashing comments please, I'm curious about Gore, not the president. Thanks***

  • Where does government surveillance go too far?

I was initially all for the Patriot Act and its intentions, but now I disagree with most governmental surveillance. I think that we are walking down a slippery slope when the government sets up CCTVs, or Closed Circuit Televisions, in order to monitor individual behavior. I understand the threat terrorism has to us here in America, but where do we draw the line? Where do we say enough is enough? In London, there is one CCTV for every 14 people. That is a statistic that I don't want here in America. So when does the CCTV become a Telescreen from George Orwell's 1984? Or has it already with things like Red Light Cameras and Speed Surveillance Monitors among other things?
