Playstation 3 60GB?
Does Anyone know why I can't find a 60GB PS3 anymore??? I have been saving up money to buy my BF one for Christmas and all of a sudden they are nowhere to be found. They are on Amazon starting at over $500!!! The 80GB ones aren't even that expensive. Anyone have any clue what's up with this??? We need to be able to play PS2 games on it....and I have heard that the 60GB is actually the best of the three for that capability.
Thanks!

Hendsbeex got it. I would hurry and get the 80gb now if you are going to buy that. The price is dropping on them to $400.00 but there will be no more backwards capabilities.

You are correct - The 60GB (and 20GB) have the best backwards compatibilty due to the Emotion Engine being included. (Emotion Engine is the heart of the PS2) Unfortunately, the 60GB and 20GB consoles were both discontinued last November. This was due to the high cost of manufacturing for Sony. The 80Gb is the next best choice for you. It will play the majority of PS2 games, and has all the extras that the 60GB did (4 USB, Flash Card readers, etc.) I would only buy the 60GB if it was from a trusted source, or had some kind of warranty. Sorry my news was not better for you. Good Luck!
