Hi there, I am getting married next September and am kicking around decor ideas. I am not a huge fan of flowers, so I would rather not waste a lot of money on flower centerpieces. I would rather use lanterns and votives and scatter flower petals. Does anyone have any idea if buying flower petals from a florist is expensive? Or at least is it an inexpensive option? Thanks a lot!

Recently my best friend decided to cut ties with me. It was a completely irrational move on her part and I did nothing to provoke it. She did so because of her own insecurities and issues that she felt she couldn't discuss with me. I had found out that she was discussing my financial situation behind my back and making disparaging comments about me. When I told her that I had heard what she was doing, she flipped out, cussed me out and said she had decided to cut ties with me. Okay. I didn't even respond because this isn't the first time she has done some crazy crap like this. My problem comes from the fact that my fiancee has known her his whole life and is fighting me over maintaining a friendship with her.

I have tried to explain to him that she decided to cut ties, and she doesn't get to pick and choose which ones she keeps. He also keeps trying to say "this is between you two to work out" No, there is nothing to work out, I am not going to stand for someone being crazy and treating me like crap. She is 30 years old and acting like a child. So my question is this, how do I get through to him that it is inappropriate to maintain a friendship with her at this point? Particularly as he knows anytime he has contact with her it's going to cause issues with me. Thank you for your advice! I thought I was done with this crap 10 years ago when I left high school. Apparently not.

Hi All, I need advice on how to deal with this Father Daughter Dance Song Issue. My Dad has always wanted us to dance to Butterfly Kisses. But I have several other songs that I think are more fitting for the relationship we have. I thought about My Girl, because it's a song we used to dance to together when I was little, and I Loved Her First because it perfectly describes how I would feel. My dad and I DID do the whole Butterfly Kiss thing when I was little and he would give me hugs/tuck me in etc. But the rest of the song doesn't feel right to me. And it honestly makes me kind of uncomfortable that he is unwilling to even discuss any other option. Should I just leave it be since he feels so strongly about it?

I have a very close friend who has become kind of overbearing. She is extremely tuned into her own emotions, and her overall health. She takes a very eastern approach to most things in her life, believing strongly in the power of foods and supplements as the source of and answer to all of life's problems. While I think her views are interesting, I don't feel the need to apply them all to my life. One particular issue right now, is my weight. I exercise all the time, am very conscious of what I eat and maintain what would be classified as an overall healthy lifestyle. Yet I can not lose weight. My girlfriend feels that she is an expert on this topic, and has done a lot of research, but I feel like she is starting to shove things down my throat as opposed to just making suggestions and letting me go. The problem is she is very sensitive so I feel like I can't just say back off. Any advice as to how to address this?

Hi Guys, So I just got engaged (yay) and my fiancee is having issues with choosing a best man. There is a guy he was like Best Friends with for about 4 years, but who split up with his wife last year. When he did, he moved in with bunch of his friends and has kind of stopped showing up as a friend. He will make plans and cancel at the last minute, or he just won't call when he says he is going to. I feel like my fiancee is getting screwed over because this was the only guy he ever felt REALLY close with and could confide in. So anyone else he picks will really just be so that he has Someone. What should I do? Talk to the guy myself? Try to convince my fiancee to call him? We really want him to come back to the friendship. Thanks

Does anyone know a ball park figure of cost for ear canal removal surgery for a cat? My cat has chronic ear infections, I think due to being abused/neglected for the first 8 months of his life before I rescued him. We have been to the vet and done cultures and medicine. We have also done one surgery to ciphen out everything in there. Nothing has worked, the infection keeps coming back. So I am pretty sure that the next step is this surgery. Thanks

It has the dual exhaust whereas the 07 doesn't, but the underneath is already able to accommodate a dual exhaust. Hi, I rescued a Persian Cat 6 months ago. He has this brown crusty stuff and goop in one ear. We have had him to the vet at least 12 times and have even done a surgery to clean it out. The only time it gets better is when we put medication in it, but as soon as we stop the medication, the crust and goo come back. It is not earmites and we tried changing his food, but again as soon as we stopped the drops, it came back. One would think that if we knew what is curing it, that we could diagnose it, but.....At this point I am cleaning it out daily with Epi-Otic and went back to using some medicine. Has anyone ever had this problem before?? If so, what have you done? Again, he has been to several vets and has been on multiple medications, both oral and topical. Please help.

Does Anyone know why I can't find a 60GB PS3 anymore??? I have been saving up money to buy my BF one for Christmas and all of a sudden they are nowhere to be found. They are on Amazon starting at over $500!!! The 80GB ones aren't even that expensive. Anyone have any clue what's up with this??? We need to be able to play PS2 games on it....and I have heard that the 60GB is actually the best of the three for that capability.

So Back in March, I quit smoking after 6.5 years. I had been smoking at least a pack a day. I used Chantix to quit. In late May I started smoking again after a car accident. I want to get back on the bandwagon, but can't afford the $130/month prescription. I am only smoking .5 pack/day now. Please help with advice about what worked for YOU or a LOVED ONE. Can anyone give me opinions on Authority Brand Cat Food. I recently was told by my vet that my kitten might have food allergies. He was being fed Purina One, which contains chicken as the main protein source. Authority Salmon is the only brand I could find that did not contain chicken, chicken meal, or chicken fat in the ingredients. And I was weary about trying anything with Turkey as the main protein source. I have four cats so I can't afford to make my own cat food with fish, venison, beef, or lamb as the cost of groceries is expanding. So, any advice or reviews are really appreciated!!
