There is a connection that is beyond this place where you can establish a oneness or closeness to the Lord. But as for seeing him, you will do that when you are returned. There is a purpose why, you cannot see him, both physical and mental.

First their were no photographers who could take such a picture. Jesus would not have sat for a potrait had a painter been available and painters did not have the sophistication that later artists would have, long after the time of Christ, but I do see God in his handy work. Read Ps ch. 19.

Where and what picture of God did you see?
Are you talking about Jesus Christ? Then, you have not seen God yet.

God the Father can not be looked upon by by us in our human form. Recall Moses was placed in the cleft of a rock to hide him from Gods glory that he was Blessed to glimps the back side of God at His passing.
Anything else is artistic interpretation (even the Shroud of Turin)

Well you can see the real God and not just the "Zues" in those pictures. Trying staring directly into the Sun and that is God i.e Light

No and I have not seen you or a picture of you.....your point?
edit
Actually Daniel S, Moses saw God's back. He asked to see him and God said you can not see my face but I will shield you with my hand and you will see me after I have passed by. So someone has seen God and lived.

yes, i've seen god out in a stormy grey sea, and in a windy valley on a high mountain. I've seen him in the homeless man singing to himself and the estatic dancer. god is everywhere. there isn't a physical manifestation of god.

No, there are no pictures of God at all...those imagines are suppose to be of Jesus not God.

No, i won't see God until I have been taken to Him when i leave the earth to join Him, but i talk to Him and Jesus a lot told me why one of my baby goats died, as punishment for my sexual immorality. which i committed anyway afterwards and will continue to do for a long time.
