Personally, i don't really reckon that something could be at the same time Nice and Peaceful, but whether nice or peaceful. for instance, the world is very nice but is it not peaceful, it is full of wars and bloodshed. Additionally, the jungle and the sea are peaceful but there are not quite nice, there are, a little bit ,horrible and full of upheavales. So that, the human beings are really caught between the two realities, between what is nice and what is peaceful without finding any unified solution between the two......

I find your question nice and peaceful to start with. It is just asking me about something that is not nasty and troublesome, that I can eliminate one by one until I am left with only those things that are real good.

But let me see, what could be such a thing that I would find really nice and peaceful, I the questioning mind. I know that I have knack for raising matters from their slumbering doom back into vivacity of life, so that they can live again, like the rest of us. I sometimes ever get suspicious if it is too peaceful at times. I then pinch myself to see if this is real, and not a dream.

But this is not light joke or something. It is real. This is our human nature that we cannot stand too much of anything, good or bad. I think if idealistic situations where there is no problem, where there is all smooth running of things, our mind finds it difficult to get engaged, where there is no challenge, a situation to deal with, or a problem to solve. And in situations of complete idyll of extreme boredom the mind could create its own problems.

I find meditative prayers absolutely helpful in keeping the mind healthy, active and wise all at the same time. I find moments of perfect clam and peacefulness during and after acts of prayer. I believe it is natural to the mind to spend some time praying each day.

my falt is matte white everywhere nothing comes in to it that isnt white - it is so chilled to be in - I wea r white clothes inside and feel very calm - having taken away superfluous colour information walking alone in nature works for me too especially near the sea and around or up mountains.

Soft warm huggy clothes - reading -

Lace knitting is good because it requires the brian ot be engaged but limits its activity with in a given structure; it is repetitive and meditative.

gardening and watching the garden come alive each year.

Holding hands with my own true love watching a feel good movie sitting on the settee together really quietly.

Some buildings have a peaceful feel - the National Art gallery is nice and peaceful for me no mattr how many people are inside it.

    thnks nice question.

A number of things,, rain tapping gently at the window whilst laying in bed snugly. Thinking of peaceful things like waterfalls, warm beaches, streams etc. Also, being able to meditate and go into my own peaceful euphoria...
