Help needed from any Youtube experts?

Hi!

I've uploaded a video on Youtube but it has been rejected because the length is too long. The file is 632MB and it last 15min 12s.

I was wondering if there is a way to split it in two parts or shrink it a bit once it's there on Youtube? I could not see anything on the website which would allow this but wanted to check with you guys before having to upload it again as it takes such a long time.

Thanks for any advice!

Use an editing software like Windows Movie Maker or iMovie HD and you can also compress the video for web streaming using DivX Converter.

  • I would suggest getting Windows Movie Maker, it is easy to use, and splits videos into two parts. It would also allow you to put titles so you could say ....Part 1....Part 2.

It's very simple, and quick to download. It usually comes free with computers though, just search Windows Movie Maker on Google.

    Good luck!

And yes, youtube should allow it, unless it is copyrighted.

You need to compress it a LOT, try download.com for a video compresser, and youl also need to cut it in 2 with some video editing software eg, windows movie maker. The youtube limit for a video is 100mb and/or 10 mins unless your a partner.

you won't have the ability to because of the fact this is been pointed out as copyright infringement, and blocked in specific places, whether it continues to be obtainable interior the united kingdom, deliver me the link, and that i'll ascertain if i will take a glance at it from right here. you could view any video on a a million-time factor, by utilising utilising a proxy from that area, to illustrate, say your video is blocked in US and obtainable everywhere else, you could desire to hunt for a proxy from China, and use that, the internet will think of you're gazing it from China, no longer the U. S. because of the fact the server this is transmitting that proxy would be in China, and you will nonetheless watch it, it skill in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, that any visitors of your video interior the U. --for editing and splitting of video....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

It works very well....just google search for "zillatube"
