What is wrong for people to vote for Obama?
A lot of people think the us (Obama supporters) are stupid and ignorant. What is wrong for us supporting him? He is a great candidate and good person. But people think that he is a liar, a communist, and is racist. Where is the proof? Why can't we support Obama? I mean I don't go around saying that McCain supporters are stupid and evil. So why can't we support Obama without McCain supporters criticize us?
Here is one speech that tells you we nedd Obama:

If you can find a speech from McCain better than this then show it to me.

There is no proof. These people calling Obama the things you have stated only watch Fox and base everything about the man on 10 second edited clips from his former pastor. People fear change. And guess what?? Obama is like most of us in America who are sick of greedy corporations and politicians making all the money, bankrupting the nation, profiteering from a war, and keeping the American public poor and dependent.
Nobody gives McCain sh*t about calling Vietnamese gooks, making rape jokes, calling his wife a c*nt, joking about starting WWIII with Iran, he supports the ethnic cleansing of muslims, will only send the country into a depression, can't think clearly, speak clearly, and doesn't know anything about running a country, economics, or what it's like to live week to week on a paycheck. I'm sick of voting for rich white people who have no concept of a budget in their personal life or public life.
There is NOTHING wrong with supporting Obama. Obama supporters are more educated for a reason. We see the big picture, not just what's going to benefit our party. I especially love the republicans that say he is too experienced to be president (because McWar has so much experience being the president???) They say he's too inexperienced, yet claim that he will change the entire constitution to make the country socialist.
They fail to recognize that under the eroded checks and balances caused by our current elected dictator, that we are basically a fascist country right now. Never underestimate the power of denial!

Actions speak louder than words. Look at a person's record. Don't go by what they promise.
Obama has sponsored legislation and it is working its way through Congress that will redistribute the wealth of America, through the UN, to poor nations. The goal is to rid the world of poverty. The bill does not outline how jobs will be created, rather it is a giveaway of money from American taxpayers to the poor in other nations. Give a person a fish, feed him for a day. That's as far as this Obama bill goes. He omits "teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." Obama's bill is the Global Poverty Act, S. 2433.

You're right. I can tell by the grammar that you are clearly not ignorant or stupid. And I'm sure you know him personally and are totally qualified to make the judgment call that he's a good person. So, why can't you support him without McCain people criticizing you? Why does it matter? It's politics. That's the nature of it. Why can't McCain people support him without Obama supporters criticizing them?

Dude, you can support whomever you want...
That is a right.
Now that doesn't make you "in tune" with the times.
Young people like Obama out of ignorance for the most part.
Zeal without knowledge....

Not only do the points you make ring true but policy-wise he is right on just about every issue facing the nation. Even Bush is using Obama's methods and Obama isn't even President yet. Take a look http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080718/ts_afp/usiraq...

I do not vote for my president based on pretty words. I vote based on policies and voting history. That is the difference between (most) Obama supporters vs McCain supporters.

The only reason I'm not a fan of Obama is because he wants to change sooo many things, including our dollars into change. Its not wrong for people to vote for him, but i just personally disagree with them on the fact that he'll be a good president.

The proof is in the pudding, err, I mean his platform. If you really know the definitions of socialism, racism, and liar, you would see that Obama is all of the above.
ECONOMICS and TAXES:
He doesn't understand basic economics. He would rather tax the person who worked hard to get where they are just so he could redistribute the wealth to those who are lazy and expect the government hand-outs. Pretty sick isn't it....?
His plan is wealth distribution not a "tax plan." There are very few good excuses as to why people are poor. Typically health, death in the family, natural disaster, or something else that is uncontrollable are acceptable reasons to be poor, but even then those people pick themselves up and figure their financials out. I am sick of these democrats who feel bad for the poor who exploit it. Most don't even do anything to better themselves or their situation. I know a ton of people who grew up in poor small towns but did well in school, stayed out of trouble, and got a post high school education and well paying job thereafter. It's all about hard work at the beginning of your life, so the later part of your life can be easier for you. Then it's how you manage your money and invest it. There is no good explanation for the poor to remain poor and then have the government distribute wealth around slapping those in the face who did work hard to get where they are. No one, and I mean no one, tells me how much money I should or shouldn't have. This is just one example of Obama's socialist agenda that he wants to force on our great nation.
McCain:
Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250
Obama:
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
WAR
He wants to cut funding on missile defense and down size the military. Think about how vulnerable that makes us, especially right now. We cannot afford to down size our military with allthe radical dictators out there. He has changed his opinion on Iraq so many times that I can't really tell you what he wants to do about it, let alone could he even tell you becauase his mind will change tomorrow.
ASSOCIATIONS
He is associated with too many questionable people. Whether some of it is true or not, there are just too many people that he associates with for it all to be "misunderstood" or "false accusations." Here's a list...not even the full one, just who I can think of right now.
Bill Ayers
Rev. Jeremiah Wright
Tony Rezko
Father Michael Pfleger
Rashid Khalidi

Since everyone else will state a million reasons for me, I'll just say that going to the candidates website doesn't give you an unbiased source so don't use it.
