Ok, now back to Pisa as I promised. I have been married three times. All very good women in many ways. The first two ended in divorce. Much of that was my fault because I didn't provide what they needed emotionally. The last one passed away 6 months after we got married from a brain aneurism after dental work. I wasn't always a respectful man when it comes to women. In college I had many partners. I thought I was hurting noone and had no children at that time. We mature. We realize our actions do hurt others sometimes even when they are willing participants. My values and morals have changed. I can honestly say I have not ever cheated on a spouse or girlfriend. But I cheated myself with loose morals. I also cheated my then future wives out of what should have been the most beautiful gift; giving yourself to only that person you love.

Ah, Maple... this is what I love about you... Yes, guys do run and sometimes it's for fear of getting hurt again. Sometimes it's because they may not be as afraid of how they can handle a new relationship, but if they have children, they are not always sure how the new person in their lives may get along. If you have children the decision isn't only about you. Yes, the question of a surrogate that I joked about was only partially joking. I have debated the subject in my mind. I have considered it as an option.

Alex.. This one is more difficult really... Part of me is the dinosaur that likes to be the one to make a move, but in recent years I have come to realize that that isn;t showing the proper respect and independence a woman deserves. I like independent women and so it is somewhat contradictory to like their independence and then feel uncomfortable when they exercise their rights of expression. I don;t know if this makes sense. It sometimes takes dinosaurs time to finish the evolution process. I always take it as a compliment, just am a little shy (I know that;s hard to believe) about responding. I have only accepted one date where she asked me out. it was fun and later I'm glad she did, So I guess there is hope for me to do better.
