Metal fans: Are there any Post-Hardcore bands you like, or do you just hate that genre all together?
I'm curious to know.

I don't really know any post-hardcore bands. I think my itunes said Fall of Troy and House vs Hurricane was, and I like those.
But I don't *really* know the difference between post-hc and hardcore, because I don't usually pay attention too much to the labels. If a band is good then it's good. If it's not it's not

I don't hate the genre, but I'm not very fond of it either.
The only few post-hardcore bands that I really like are A Day To Remember, Fear Before the March of Flames, Enter Shikari, At The Drive-In, old Eyes Set To Kill, and Escape The Fate. It's pretty hard for me to find a band that I enjoy in that particular genre.

I like the original post-hardcore/emotional hardcore punk/indio emo bands like Fugazi, Rites of Spring, At the Drive In, Moss icon, Drive Like Jehu, Cap n Jazz, Braid,Sunny Day Real Estate(they kinda had a mixture of grunge, Fugaziesque post-hardcore and prog rock in their 1st album) as well as a few bands from the modern style(Rival Schools,Anatomy of a Ghost, Thrices new stuff, Thursday)

At the Drive-In are way more intense than most metal but they're post-hardcore. Thrice are pretty good too.

I'm not too big on metal, but I do enjoy some post-hardcore music. Fugazi (as someone else said) and At The Drive-In are very good ones.
