Factoring Question?

I was helping a friend with a math assessment today and I think that the program the test was in was giving us incorrect answers (and I say this because it was one type of problem that we were missing).

The instructions are to factor this equation:

r^2+4r-45=0

By my logic, the answer would be:

(r+9)(r-5)

By the program's logic, the answer is:

(r-9)(r+5)

But doesn't that, when expanded, become:

r^2-4r-45=0

Are we doing something wrong or is the program smoking crack?
