Connections with names and personalities ?

There is a certain name that everyone I meet with that name has the same friendly personality. Sometimes I wonder if there is sometimes a connection between the person and their name. I have heard that women are attracted to men that remind them of their fathers and the same for men and their mothers. I was shocked when I liked this guy and later found out he has the same name as my dad, which is not all that common. The same exact thing happened to my friend. And the other day my cousin said her friend was about to get married to a man with the same name as her father. Sometimes I wonder if parents with the same personalities or ways of thinking choose same names and that is why some people with the same names are similar. What do you think ?
