A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT THE CHASE HIGH SCHOOL CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THOSE 13-17. IT IS LINKED TO A PARENTS ACCOUNT. MY PACKAGE COMES WITH A VISA CHECK CARD. THERE ARE NO SERVICE FEES. ALL THE RULES APPLY WITH THIS ACCOUNT EXCEPT IF YOU OVERDRAFT IT IS TAKEN FROM YOUR PARENTS. SO BE CAREFUL. IT CONVERTS TO A FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT WHEN YOU TURN 19.

Consolidate the money, go to a Chase branch, ask what kinds of accounts they offer, pick the best one and get a statement to prove the initial deposit. That will be the start of a bank account at Chase or any other bank you may choose.

Well the short answer is money, but don't put more than $100K in any one account at this time because it's looking like 1929 all over again. FDIC insures only the first $100K so open a checking or money market account plus a savings account, seperate your money between those two or three accounts in order to be protected against bank failure.

Generally, you just go into the bank with some money and some ID and talk to an adviser. They will help you decide the best bank account for you.

Once you have your account open, you can verify your Pay Pal account with it.

Go to the Chase bank and say, Hi, I am looking to open an account here....They will say ok, come this way, and they will get you started :)

    Youi take all your money,

Go to the bank, With your ID and SS card.

    Ask to open an account

they have you fill out some papers.

    Then they run yoru credit.

    Then they take you money,

And they give you a peice of plastic in return, along with some Notes, called Checks.

    Then you have an account.

    GOOD LUCK

Chase usually wants some sort of direct deposit situation set up when they start a new account. They sometimes offer you a $100 if you have a certain intial deposit.
