Kind of, but I saw it mainly because, well, I just wanted to see it.

I liked "Batman Begins," and this movie looked incredible.

Man, am I glad I saw it.

I went to see the film because I like the new direction of the last two Batman films, and I knew when I saw the teasers and trailors that the acting, including Ledger's, and the writing were going to be great. I knew this was going to be the best movie of the year. I will pay tribute to Ledger by saying that he did an incredible job, he was extremely talented and it is a shame he passed away. I think his rendition of Joker is going to quickly become the gold standard as far as far as villains go, and comparisons to his skills in this role will be made for a long time to come.

People are of course going to say that Heath Ledger's death was the best publicity for the film. There's no denying that it was a great movie, though, and Heath Ledger's performance was incredible.

  • I saw it last night. I went to see it because I love Batman, I love the comics, and I absolutely loved "Begins".

I loved the movie, the only weak part was Maggie who was more awful than Katie Holmes, in my opinion. But otherwise the movie was simply amazing. Heath was incredible and I don't think anyone can ever match his performance as the Joker. I mean Jack was great but Heath took it to a whole new level, still keeping the Joker, Joker.

I came away from that movie feeling really bad for Heath though. All he put into that character and not here to see it on the big screen. This is probably one of the roles that contributed to his anxiety and for that I am really sad.

I saw it the night it came out, but I went because I wanted to see it, but mostly to pay a tribute to Heath Ledger, is my all time favorite actor.

Heath Ledger's death seems to be very big. I did not see the movie because of his death, i saw it because of the previous movie and for pure entertainment reasons. I can pay some tribute to him by saying and voicing my opinion about how fantastic his performance was but as far as just seeing it because he died, no, i did not.

Are you going to watch Everyone Loves Raymond to pay Tribute to Peter Boyle? He died recently too, Heath Ledger is not the only actor/actress that passed away recently.

No, I went because it looked like a good movie and Heath Ledger is amazing in it. I didn't even know he even played the Joker until the day I decided to go to the movie. I barely knew who he was before he died, and never saw any of his movies until this one. It's a really good movie.

    "pay Tribute to Heath Ledger?"

WTF? He certainly doesn't need any sympathy audience. If you see his work in this movie, it was one of the greatest performances ever caught on film. People should go for that reason.

Source(s): But after seeing it, I selfishly thought, it's too bad I'll never get to see the fantastic career he surely would have had.

well, i'm a big heath ledger fan he was a brilliant!! actor to watch. His death surprised me and made me very sad so I would like to see his last finished movie. At first i didn't want to because this movie and this role, the joker, kind of caused his death. He became very mentally unstable while playing the VERY intense Joker and got ill...which made him take so much prescribed meds.

I also am very interested in Batman so all that comes together to make me want to watch the movie :)

    RIP heath

This is not Ledgers last film. The tribute will be next year when his final film comes out.

Well, since there was so much hype surrounding it (a lot caused by Heath Ledger) I figured I might as well see it. It turnedout to be a great movie, and I'm glad I went. If he hadn't died, I probably wouldn't have gone to see it.
