Gift for my girlfriend?!!!!!!?

something romantic......a weekend getaway to some romantic hotel(or a night...doesn't have to be full weekend.......hotels get costly......if she is adventurous you could go with a fun themed room), give her yourself.....your time, your attention.......a picnic in the park for the two of you where you tune in to her and only her.....feed her strawberries dipped in chocolate, write her a poem/letter telling her exactly how you feel about her and READ it to her she'll love it....cook her dinner...take her to the movies or a show.

try something new together...a helicopter ride, surfing, roller blading, sculpting(remember the scene from Ghost? classic...timeless....), couples massage, play tourist in your city...do a walking tour(haunted walks are REALLY fun), guided walking tours, maybe a day cruise?

what about a factory tour(think HERSHEY's Chocolate...see how it's made and surprise her with her favorite treat)

maybe hop on a train and go to the closest town and spend the day just exploring

take her to botanical garden and snap pics of her dancing in the flowers.......

make a photo album of memories of the two of you ......movie stubs, pics, lyrics to first song you danced to, business card from first restaurant you went to, etc etc

Something she will enjoy or something you guys can share - like an experience or a mini-vacation. Something different and exciting. I got a can of WD40 and a pack of zipties from my boyfriend before we got engaged and I actually use those things and really appreciated it more than something generic like candy or flowers - not that those are not nice as well. Something that shows you are thinking about her and her likes and dislikes is usually more appreciated.

Some ideas:

- A photo album of the two of you.

- A weekend in her favorite hotel/city, complete with dinner and dancing and siteseeing

- A weekend in a city she's always wanted to go to

- Something that works for her career choice - scrubs for a nurse, nice briefcase for the business woman, huge supply of paints and canvas for the artist, etc.

- If she buys designer/counter makeup, find out her colors and replenish her stock for her.

- Chore coupons so you can do the hosuework, cleaning, laundry, dishes, cooking, etc. for her

Use your creative side and it will go over well ( =

I would give her a picture frame that says "Friends" or something of the like and put a picture from whenyou two first met in it.......I would be touched if I recieved such a gift from my friend. Good uck.
