Does dry air make it harder to sleep than humid air?
I live in a basement apartment and the air has always been kinda humid. I got a dehumidifier which is working great but I haven't been able to sleep since I got it. Could it be because of the dryness is of the air?

Yes, unfortunately. The humidity is what lubricates your upper respiratory system and allows you to sleep comfortably. Dehumidifiers are almost imperative in an environment such as a basement or attic where the ventilation is less than adequate. If it continues to be a bother, you can buy a bedside humidifier to use at night, just be sure that you unplug it or cut it off during the day.
I hope you feel better soon, God bless.
