this man weaseled my wife away! is she insane?
Can a man with 2 murder and 2 kidnapping charges plea to a lesser by testifying? how likely is this?
this is what a man is telling my wife. she thinks he is going to get out with time-served after the trial in october. is this realistic? it seems to me that with all those charges, it would be pretty irresponsible to dismiss most of them in exchange for the chance for one conviction. he led the perpetrators of the murder to the victim, watched them beat him senseless with bats and pipes, then got in the truck and went with them to a second scene where the beating continued. the man died the next day. he claims he was just going along so they would pay him his finder's fee.
he is charged with: murder 1 & 2, aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated kidnapping, and criminal attempted murder. and now he has stolen my wife away. from jail. how does a man do that exactly? she seemed so cool...
there were two witnesses (besides supposedly this guy), but one of them died of pneumonia in the meantime, and the other is an unreliable witness who has been dismissed for lying
she WAS cool! IS cool. i love that girl. they were together years ago but i thought she had given all that up. she was a new person, and all her light was so shining through. now this...

It is really hard to tell what the outcome of the charges will likely be, but it dosen't sound like he should be given just time served.
Yes, your wife is insane to fall for a man who would do even what he has admitted to doing, but there are many women who fall for men who are serving sentences in prison, or on death row for horrible crimes.
I hope you are strong enough to walk away with some dignity, and I also hope that your wife will get some help.
Sorry that your marriage didn't work out the way you had hoped it would.
Good Luck

In the US, he will probably get a reduced sentence but not be let go completely.
It really shouldn't matter to you. Get away, far away, from your wife and the trouble she is signing up for. If this guy would participate in a scheme like this, what would he be willing to do to you?
Don't have anything more to do with either one of them. Find a cool girl without the baggage and have a happy life.

Yes, it is possible that he could plea bargain in exchange for testifying against the other guys and get a lighter sentence.
But think of this,,,if he narcs on these guys, they wont be happy, he will have to leave town to avoid being the next guy they have beaten to death,,,,,and if I were you, I'd let the wife go with him. Sounds like they deserve each other.

Wow I would think he would be going to jail for awhile but you never know he may have made a deal with the devil (ohh I mean prosecuting attorney). However I don't think he will be getting out of jail for a while, that is my personal gut feeling about this one and your wife is much better off without him and maybe they two of you can get back together. Move away so when he does get out of jail she isn't tempted to go back with it, (I mean him).

maybe she feels bad for him. I used to date an ex-con, I guess it was exciting, that is until I turned into a punching bag, and ended up at the emergency room 3 times in 5 months. Yea, sounds to me like she fell off the wagon.
But was she really your wife? you called her cool?

Sorry to say it, but you are better-off without someone who could be sweet-talked by a murderer. She will get used & dumped, maybe killed. Let her go.
