Does Plato's closet sell dressed that would be formal enough to wear to homecoming and turn about?

Yeah. Some of their dresses are outdated though, but there's sometimes some cute ones in there.
They don't sell really formal dresses though. I tried selling them my old prom dress (it was expensive!) and they wouldn't take it, saying they don't sell "formal gowns".

they usually sell homecoming-ish dresses, more of like a cocktail style, but most of the stores (at least from what I've seen) don't buy formal gowns to sell because no one ever buys them

yeah totally, and its awesome because not everyone will know about Plato's so anything you find there is sure to be unique!
