How exactly do I parallel park?
I haven't needed to since I took my driving test in high school.I haven't had to do this in a few years now, because I haven't been able to drive for a few years now.I didn't do anything wrong its just my epilepsy got really bad,and I did the right thing and reported it to the MVD.Now my seizures have been under control for the past year, and even thou I don't have to retake the test I want to.
My parallel parking wasn't the greatest then, and I haven't done this in well over a year. So,If anyone could give me a play by play I would appreciate it.
So far the person who calls them self "The main event" was the most helpful.
I am a person who likes to visualize myself self doing something about fifty times before I actually do it,and after I read it a few times I could see myself parallel parking,
I really appreciate the kind of detail you put into your answer.
Once yahoo answers allows me to vote for the best answer I will chose you.

This is how I learned it from my driver's ed. instructor, and by god it works just about everytime(except the real tight spots).
Start by pulling your car up next to the car that will be in front of you in your space, making sure you're about even with the driver's door on it.
Put your blinker on and begin to back up.
95% of all cars have the small window next to the larger window in the back seat, use the strip between them as a marker. As you back up, when that strip appears to be in line with the tail light of the car you're next to, cut your wheel to the right.
Keep backing up like that until your passenger side mirror is at about the same point(lined up with the tail light), then start cutting the wheel back to the left.
This should line you up about perfect in the spot, with minimal adjustments needed to straighten out.

Parking is not any exception to the practise it rather is mandatory sign your intentions. related to parallel parking, you're the two backing up, and turning. If there's a motor vehicle parking section in basic terms at the back of you and on your precise, and you're stopped including your turn connect up, that's incredibly obtrusive you're headed for that motor vehicle parking section, as rapidly as that's guard to bypass there, till there is an intersection close forward. of direction if there is a lot section, somebody ought to stress into the motor vehicle parking section from distinctive direction, in the previous you're waiting to do the backwards parking maneuver. in certainty with a great type of autos having 4 wheel stress, and the two back and front wheels that should turn, i don't understand why backwards parallel parking is one in each of those great deal.

pull forward about a half car length in front of the spot you want to park in. Adjust that according to the size of your car. I cheat; I'm not parallel to the car parked on my right, my front end is turned out toward traffic a little. start backing in pointing the rear end toward the curb until you are about half way in, again adjust according to your car's size. Turn your wheels in the opposite direction while you continue to back in, turning more or less to get close to the curb while keeping an eye on the car in front of you and the car behind you. Back up as far as you can, straighten your wheels or turn them a little toward the curb and pull forward until you're centered between the cars. Easy.

One of the easiest ways.
Bumper to bumper 1 turn to the right.
Bumper to door 1 left
Bumper to back bumper all the left
Try this method i was taught this in drivers ed. Just remember take your time, do it in one smooth move.
Practice makes perfect.

Pull up the car in FRONT of the space you're pulling into, align the bumpers, Crank the wheel hard, and straiten out as you back in.
