the article you cite correctly points out that Tim Berners Lee invented the web protocols and key conecpts behind the Web and therefore is regarded as the 'father' of the Web, but the internet itself is based on the old ARPANet a US defence agency network that was robust and recoverable. ARPAnet defiend a series of communitcaiton protocols, the mechanims of routing messages to appropriate servers, and allowed the netwrok to recover form node outages.

Ironically if you had bothered to read other chapters formthe reference you cite you'd have discovered that.. chapter 2 especailly

ARPANet was cloned and used in academic institutions, initially in the US to help promote the exchange of ideas and scientific research (one of the aims of Berners Lee invention) and later in the UK as JANET

the first graphical browser was also a US invention.. Mosaic from a US universtiy (Urbana-Champaigne, IIlonois?)

No one is solely responsible for this invention but Donald Davis (american) did develop the concept of packet switching which was a major improvement in the internets manufacture. Also al gore allegedly claimed to have invented it once. Hope i helped!

It took FDR fairly much 7 or 8 years to unravel the financial issue during the large melancholy. this is going to take Obama, or the subsequent president, 3 or 4 greater years to stabilize this financial equipment following the large Recession. Obama is solid and makes clever judgements while our protection is predicated upon it. it is yet another significant concern that the GOP has no answer for.

The Internet is a world wide packet switched network. Its a network of networks with the ability to route between them. It was invented by Americans.

The WWW refers to HTTP protocol and the billions of webpages that you can access. Tim John Berners-Lee invented the concept of HTTP and hypertext. It is a service that runs ontop of the Internet

The Americans also invented the English language; FYI Shakespeare was from the Bronx. I think they also won WW2 because I saw it in a film once.

Because the Americans like to band it about they invented everything, won every war going, you name it they've done it. I'm sure I read it somewhere or saw it in a film. But we all know that they are telling porkies.

But if it wasn't for the Europeans grit and inventions of the English during the 17th and 18th centuries, America would still be a dust bowl!

The Americans think they invented everything but they invented nothing as we Europeans invented america! (and the www was invented for the american army so thats why they think they invented it but it was a british mans idea!)
