Satan and the Bible?

Here's an interesting philosophical question.

In the bible, and just about every other religious text, Satan is called the great deceiver, liar, the one who will lead you astray.

Now then. wouldn't it have been just the most perfect lie, if Satan had written the Bible? Make mankind believe it's the word of god, when it actually isn't? What other document had been responsible for more death and destruction in the history of mankind, than the Bible?

Seems like a document of the devil to me. It has done exactly what Satan would want.

You can't use the bible as proof of god's word, since it's not substantiated elsewhere.

Update:

Of course Satan would have to use the teaching of love to convince the weak minded.

A little truth mixed with a lie makes is more believable.

Dear friend, as you get deeper into the Bible you will see that everything COINCIDES with each other. Plus, why would Satan write a book that mocks him, and tells people to run AWAY from Him? Think about that

Because the Bible is full of Truth and Love, and Satan is incapable of expressing either.

The death and destruction in the world is not because of following the Bible; just the opposite. The Dark Ages are due to the Catholic Church (which HATES the Bible) persecuting those who follow it. During the Dark Ages, it was against the law to even have a single page of Scripture on one's person, upon pain of torture or death. It was called the "Dark Ages" because the Light of the Bible had been suppressed. 50 million people were burned at the stake during this time, in defense of the contents of this book. Why would they willingly die for something they knew to be a lie?

All the violence of this last century was also done by Catholics! Every communist or fascist dictator of this last century was either a Catholic or a Freemason (Freemasons answer to the Jesuits, who answer to the Pope.) Every war of this last century was orchestrated to bring about a New World Order, which we are currently on the verge of. Even at the beginning of the 20th century, Freemasons began creating errant Bible versions to lead people away from salvation, to make people doubt the divinity of Christ, and to elevate humans to a godlike status. But God's true Word, in the form of the KJV, stayed on through it all, and is still today the best-selling book in history, since millions gain hope, love and comfort from its messages.

I believe that the Bible is the true Word of God, because it is a collection of 66 books written by 45 different authors, most of whom never even met each other, of varying backgrounds, levels of education and social status, over a period of 1500 years, and yet it is all one cohesive unit, with different books playing off each other and complementing each other. Such a feat is impossible by human efforts alone; this to me is evidence of its divine inspiration. No other "holy book" on Earth can make such a claim. In fact, all other holy books claim to be written by a single man supposedly inspired by a single angel, which automatically makes them suspect, because a single man can write anything he wants without correction from peers, and they also all claim to have gotten their inspiration in a cave, which is traditionally where all pagan "gods/goddesses" (demons/fallen angels) appear from. Also, Satan can appear as an "angel of light", and can deceive these single men.

The Bible is unique in history, and its divine inspiration can be found simply by reading it on its own terms.

I don't think so. The Bible is really not in Satan's best interest, all things considered.

The Bible is not responsible for the abuse that has occurred throughout history in the name of the Bible; rather, the responsibility lies with those who didn't educate themselves on how to properly interpret what is written in the Bible.

In other words, it's not the Bible's fault that people choose to be ignorant on such matters. People choose to be ignorant in this way because they merely use the Bible as a means to promote their prejudices, instead of letting it influence and inspire them to use it for the good that it is intended for.

Without God there is no satan ,and without God's word we wouldn't know anything about the existence of satan .And here is where the lie of satan is : ---> That satan wrote the bible . And that it's not God's word .

That's is highly unlikely because Satan wouldn't have told us to treat others with respect.

So if I went and killed, like, 200 people, and said I did it in gromits name, would that make you at fault?

No, it wouldn't, because I would be slandering you, as those who killed in the name of Christ slander him. There is no instruction to kill in Christs name. He teaches goodness, which Satan would not teach.

    Islam is another story.
