Can you drink refrigerated Soymilk that is unopened after the expiration date?
This may sound stupid, but I have an UNOPENED carton of Silk Soymilk that has an expiration date of 6/14/08. Does Soymilk even go "bad", so to speak? Is it safe to drink this since it was never opened and has been refrigerated the whole time? I know the cartons always say drink within 10 days of opening, but is the expiration just BS since it's not cow milk? I am not cheap, I am more so just curious if anyone knows. Thanks!!!
Wow, everyone here is really great. I thought no one would take the question seriously, but it does happen to all of us - maybe not with Soymilk specifically, but some kind of food. It seems that most people agree that the expiration date is mostly BS.

Should be fine. If it's off you'll be able to taste and smell it the same as with dairy milk, and it will generally seperate, it'll be obvious straight away.
Generally it can be used a fair bit past the date, as can a lot of things.
In answer to your question soymilk can go sour/bad though yes, when left open for too long. But you'd know, don't worry!

I wouldn't drink it as it is beyond the expiration date and is most likely spoiled.
FYI from the silk website:
Silk Soymilk will keep fresh in your refrigerator unopened until the date stamped on the top of the carton. Once opened, Silk will stay fresh for seven to 10 days if kept refrigerated. It is not unusual for Silk to remain good past the 10-day mark; however, we only guarantee that it will be good for seven to 10 days.

Your soy milk should be fine since it's unopened, even though it's more than a month past the expiration. When soy milk goes bad you will know...it will smell off.
Once opened, you should adhere to the 10 day thing, but you can go up to 15-20 days maybe if it's not noticeably bad.

I have opened Silk in my fridge that expired on the 16th and it's fine. Soymilk lasts a really long time.

I drink rice milk and I drink it up until it tastes bad. I don't really pay attention to the label. Sometimes I will keep an unopened carton in the fridge for over a month.

The expiration date on food is mostly to cover the producers royal rear end.
But once you get past that date it is up to you and don't blame them if you use the milk and get sick.
Having said that if it were me I'd try it and make my descision based on the condition of the milk. Don't hesitate to throw it out if there is any question in your mind.
