Women: Would a Web Page be better than a Card?
23 year Anniversary is just around the corner and I started making plans. I have a few gift ideas and some alone time planned (no kids). But I also wanted to do something Different.
So, I thought that rather than get her an Anniversary Card, I would develop a Web Page for her. Very pretty, very romantic page (Flowers, Wine Glass, Velvet Red color scheme, etc). Add some personal thought and a photo from our wedding.
Then, while she is at work (day before), send her an email with the link.
Corny or romantic?

Aw- how romantic! Then you can print the page and frame it for her as a keepsake.
And congratulations on 23 wonderful years!
What a lucky lady!

She'll probably see it as romantic; I would appreciate the gesture because I know how much time it takes to create a web page. However, I'm a little more practical, I guess. A web page would be nice to look at and show off to others, but then what? Kind of like flowers--beautiful display, but they end up in the garbage.
Maybe your wife isn't the practical type. If not, impress her with her cyberspace page o' romance!
If she doesn't have a MySpace page, you may opt to create one for her or one that you two can share. It will allow you the keep the romantic element, and it's somewhat useful for keeping in touch with friends and family members.
Or how about creating a romantic screensaver for her computer at work? Not too personal, because others may see it, but a daily reminder of your love...

Aww I think that's a cute and romantic idea. I wish my boyfriend would do things like that for me. Your wife is lucky to have you in her life. Happy Anniversary!

I think it's really cute that you would take the time to do that for her, but i think you should make her a card as well. Happy Anniversary!!!

I LOVE the thought . . . but she can't really have it as a keepsake like she could with a card. I like the websites for weddings or parties to give guests info & background but I would stick with a physical card for this.

My husband did that for me one time, it meant the world to me! I love that idea. And it's so much more effort on your part than signing a card.
Although a card as well is not a bad idea.
