Estimate of a car scratch?

I don't have a picture of it but the car is a green older car. The car was scratched with a pair of scissors so it isn't that deep. And the scratch is probably about 2 inches long. And it isn't over any ridges. How much do you think it'll cost to fix?

The scratch looks similar to this car but there is only one scratch line and it's about 2 inches long.

Update:

Well $200 isn't a big deal to me/ it's probably one of those scratches that'll easily come out using one of those kits. I just hope it isn't $500.

Get a can of OEM touch-up paint from the dealer and carefully paint over the scratch. Be careful to not paint over trim, molding or badges. Use masking tape if you have to and get that lined in with a razor. Take your time and do several coats until the surface is even, letting each coat dry before applying another. Enough is enough. When it has fully dried, clear coat it. Do not get in a hurry or you'll have runs and drips and that's uglier than a scratch. When that is dry and hard, polish it to match the rest of the car. Wax it. If you feel unsure, practice first on a piece of cardboard until you know you can paint evenly.

Every estimate is quite different. My car was keyed and the dealership was charging $531 but a friend of family did it for $400.

some waxes will actually cover that up if its not too noticeable. Try going to google and type in "meguiars wax" and they have all different types of waxes that might be what your looking for. Its definitely the cheapest alternative...and maybe put more than one coat if you do find wax for it...good luck!
