Are we only allowed to ask about gender identity and sexual orientation in LGBT?

Is this section only for specific questions of gender identity or sexual orientation? It seems that if the question does not specifically approach a problem in one of these two arenas then there is always a response of, "why is this in this section."

Has it ever occured to the individuals typing this that some people asking questions in this section ask their questions here because they best associate with the people here or are seeking the answers or opinions of people here?

If you can not handle some level of diversity in tis forum, why stay in here? Why not go to a sheltered LGBT only place in your town and police the people there to discuss nothing but sex practices, sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

For me this is a fraction of who I am - I do not walk around with a neon sign strapped to my neck flashing M2F.

Can we not just appreciate dicersity and if we do not associate or want to associate with the question move on. If you don't know the answer someone else may

Update:

Sorry diversity- I have also noticed spell check often does not work and often features errors.

Update 2:

I do realize that asking questions regarding sexual orientation in other categories can lead to negative responses. I often find answering in other categories has the same circumstance. I simply feel we should be open minded enough to answer a question and if someone asks "how to revuild the engine of a tranny"- a response as was posted - "Y!A may have considered a different tranny- you may want to repost the question" a reasonable response, but if a LGBT person asks a question or posts a potential joke or poll it is unneccesary to immediately type "what does this have to do with LGBT" or "do you mean your gay _____________."

It is not always necessary to only speak of orientation or identity or sexual practices.

There are other thoughts and concerns besides "am I gay, bi, asexual, straight" and GID questions.

I say live and let live. If I can not or choose not to answer I simply hit the back arrow and look for an alternative.

    Amen sista!!!

Don't worry about the spelling....when you are asking a question, spell check only works on the question not the additional details : )

ofcourse not, you may talk about anything related to LGBT issues in here. I once asked a question about how people decide who pays the bill on a date.

however do understand that it is quite hard to seperate sex and sexuality in some cases and asking questions about sexual orientation in other categories, tends to insue insults moreso than asking in here.

Point taken - but why do people ask a factual question about (for example) the history of the royal family - where the answer doesn't depend on the personal proclivities of the respondent?

sure surely. If 3/4th the senate does not vote for it he ought to be allowed to veto it. now is it precise that it is not extra? No. i do no longer consider hate crime rules thoroughly. i think of that a individual that commits a criminal offense against yet another individual for any reason ought to be seen a hate crame. reason in case you hate somebody adequate to harm them... its a hate crime. On that be conscious.... george bush is an fool.... shall we merely wish mitt romney or who ever that different non secular guy is does not get president next. i ought to ought to flow.
