How do I reboot my computer without turning it off?
I was downloading something and it says "please reboot your computer for downloads to be complete" The only way that I know is to turn it off, then turn it on again, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm not very experienced at computer use, so any help will be welcome.

You click the start tab in the lower right corner of your screen and then click turn off computer. An options type window will appear in the middle of the screen. it should say Stanndby Turn off and Restart. Choose restart.

Usually you press the START button, then SHUT DOWN (or TURN OFF).
Then there are usually choices - one of which is RESTART. Your computer will automatically turn itself off and then back on again.
However, there is nothing wrong with turning it off and then turning it on. It will all be exactly the same, except for a few seconds of time to do it in 2 steps instead of one : )

(a million) initiate > turn Off > Restart. (2) acquire Sharewares including "Shortkeys" or "Tweak-XP professional", which shall we you create short decrease on your table suitable for reboot. (3) some computers have restart button on them.
