Unfortunately, if you read the fine print, they use artificial girl scout flavoring. :)

Girl Scout Cookies are the best, and there are several different types. BuyingGirl Scout Cookies supports Girl Scouting and helps girls to raise money as a group and learn about business, budgeting and responsibility. The money they earn makes it possible for them to to go camping, do community service projects, buy supplies for activities or anything they can think of. Girl Scouts do not have to come from wealthy families and have their parents pay for everything, they can earn money themselves selling cookies, which I think is GREAT!

yes they grind them fresh and add them to the mix just as you have suspected! Of course I am being stupid
Girls scout cookies are made by:
: ABC Bakers/Interbake Foods LLC Richmond, VA 23294
So I would guess they have a lot of surplus girl scouts there in VA since they sold between 160- 180 million units last year
LOL.

Hopefully all of the above. The more important question is would you eat them if they did have real Girl Scouts in them?
