I would go see an ear doctor, the ringing in your ear comes from one of the bones in your ear and moister builds up and it drips onto another bone part in your ear much like a tuning fork. You don't mention how long you've been having this problem. If this has been awhile I would go see a doctor.
If not then wait a couple of days and see.

That sounds like the ballast on a florescent lamp - such through fact the compact ones designed to be screwed right into a usual socket. You did no longer say what style of heating you have, yet whilst that's steam, examine the purge valve on the radiator. human beings right here pronounced checking electric and plumbing circuits that would pass around the room - and you ought to. in case you have an oil-fired furnace, you may, in basic terms via some fluke, be getting a vibration from the intake line (which I hear in my residing house customarily interior the front room - in spite of the undeniable fact that it does not worry me) which would be fixed with a rubber damper interior the line. experience the partitions and ceiling with your arms and see wether or no longer you may experience any vibration. in case you may, that's recommended to aim and run numerous screws into the exterior to cancel out the vibration you felt (responsive to electric wires and plumbing). My guess is it boils right down to a vibration interior the partitions or ceiling that's manifesting itself interior the quite audible extreme pitched sound you're speaking approximately. If all else fails, hire a chippie to seem over the room. you're no longer loopy, considered one of those element happens each and every as quickly as inawhile...

Defiantly talk to your doctor on the phone at least to see what is going on.
It could be a variety of things from hearing problems, equilibrium, or even a spider or bug in your ear, but no one on line can tell you.
