I believe it's because most of them still view them as the mommy and daddy that they put on a pedestal as children.Just wait till they reach that age,LOL

Because of role placement. We don't want to think of people outside of the role they play in our life.

I think it is acceptable - it's just funny. I think we all know that it's normal and healthy - but the idea of your parents doing that at any age makes most people cringe.

You just don't want to think about it! I mean, they typically have problems with us having sex, so it's the same thing. TMI
