Are you tired of answering questions for people?

I am refering to a social context, not YA. I am starting to notice that a lot of conversation is just needless questions about things that people aready know. For example, every time I meet with some people, they just have to know how my job is going. Well, I told you the first time we met, and the last 15 times. I don't really want to talk about work right now.

I sometimes get the feeling that people are so full of questions but never get to know the real me. Anyone know what that is like?

Update:

"If I really wanted to tell them how I'd feel, they wouldn't want to ask again! LOL! "

LOL - Might be a good way to shut 'em up!

It all depends on your relationship with people like that--are you intimate friends or just random friends? People do that so many times when they want to be nosy about your business, but keep your cool and treat everybody the way they should be treated.

However, some people might be sincere in that they really care about you. Do not be offended.

I feel you. I had 3 pregnancies and I always go that same predictable question, "how are you feeling?"

If I really wanted to tell them how I'd feel, they wouldn't want to ask again! LOL!

I mean, come on! I'm a huge house, how should I feel?

There are a bunch of senseless questions on here but, when you get the wierd ones, you just have to laugh and thats a good thing, especially when you are down or angry... have a good night!

Yes, I know what you mean, it does get annoying when you're answering the same questions all the time but I guess people are just trying to make small talk when they do that.
