You sir have stuck the wood stake in the black heart of the walking, smooth talking empty suit.. You will not have one bot come forward and articulate an opinion Re: this subject. For they have no defense, and No chance for defense. The Gop needs to drive this message home in every newspaper across the country. Put is on every web site and blog they can get to. Show up to the minute statistics each day, as this festoring cancer Barack Hussein Obama did nothing about while in the Ill Senate. this was his district. And is his district now as a federal Senator. So there is your CHANGE and HOPE stuff. Dead in the water.

I think BOTH candidates should be judged as a person, a possible leader, by his morals, character and life choices that he's made. Not where he grew up - that's simple minded. We are talking about choosing the next leader of the most powerful and DIVERSE country in the world - why would anyone care if he grew up with a House at the Hampton's or if he grew up begging for his next meal?

His voting record and his associations...and his books.
3 GREAT reasons NOT to vote for him.
stanleys...I agree 90%. I do not see why people think that he is a good orator. If he is not in front of a teleprompter, or reciting a memorized speech, he is a bumbling fool. He uses more uhs, ums, ahs, etc. than all other words put together.

Neither. You do realize that he isn't the only politician in Illinois, right? He alone can't do it all. Nobody ever focuses on the good stuff. Plus, everyone is always griping that he hasn't been in the senate long enough, yet they are ticked that he hasn't performed some huge miracle in Chicago. You realize he isn't the Senator of Chicago, right? It's the whole state.
I certainly wish people would make up their minds. Has he or hasn't he been in the Senate long enough to make huge changes? And if he has...then what makes you think he isn't qualified to be President? You Reps contradict yourselves daily.

Neither. Where he came from is irrelevant. You can make that same argument for pretty much anyone in office, including McCain, so what's the point? McCain is not exactly living in a two-bedroom flat in South Chicago, either.

So you are telling me you don't like SS Chicago, and are upset that Obama does not live there.

No. Like all politicians, he should be judged on his policies and past record for achievement.

just like martin luther king,jr. once said a man should be judged by the content of his character.(the first part is a man should not be judged by the color of his skin). me-esp. not by the thickness of his wallet.
