is it best to cook chicken..............?

is it best to cook chicken with the hot sauce then use the ranch as a dip or just cook the chicken then mix the ranch and hot sauce together? or something else

    Both work well, its just a matter of personal preference.

    If you want to go for classic hot wings, how they do it in restaurants and wing places, like wing stop, is they fry the chicken then coat it with the hot sauce (usually by tossing it in a bowl with a scoop of sauce to get it well covered), then serve with ranch.

    I do like chicken with the hot sauce cooked in as well, but if you are frying the chicken then it would work best with some breading. You can also bake or grill it with the hot sauce as a glaze.

    i would put the hot sauce on the chicken than bake it and use ranch as dip

    you can add hot sauce to your marinade or into eggs if your breading the chicken

    then dip chicken in eggs then breadcrumbs and fry then add more sauce once cooked then dip in ranch

    I fry my wings coated in seaoned flour then shake in red hot sauce after removing from fryer. Then dip in ranch dressing before eating

    I think it would layer the flavors better if you cooked it with hot sauce, then dipped it in ranch.

    Going for a buffalo-wing type thing?
