Ill try to be optimistic, but were not as good as youre saying. Udrih is a backup at most, Douby and Shelden are complete busts, and we havent seen anything from Green or Thompson. Were definitely headed in the right direction, but it will take one more lottery pick and a few big free agent signings to be considered a "powerhouse."

They may have a young team but there not effective. I would consider the Blazers to be a young powerhouse team. They have mostly young players on there team and they can really play. The Kings have some problems. If they do trade Artest to Houston, maybe they can get some good players. Maybe they can get Barry or someone good. They should consider making trades with the Twolves, Grizzles, OKC or even ATL. It is going to take a while for the Kings to see another playoffs.

Brad Miller is your only 'experienced' player, any good team can make a run, look at the Hornets, but not enough experience to bring a championship just yet to Sac town. Don't get me wrong, an excellent nuecleus, and Artest wasn't interested in being that experienced player, so everything worked out for everyone in the last trade.

So far Shelden is a bust. Hope that Candace Parker could give him inspiration. Blazers are much more of a force to be reckoned with.

Now they have to develop. Where is the veteran leadership? Remember the Baby Bulls a few years ago, they did not do well until they got verteran leadership. Maybe Martin will step up, but I do not know. A front court veteran would be nice.
