Why cant i lose weight

I eat rather healthy foods like veggies and fruits, meat only rarely, i drink only water (only on saturdays i have a glass or two of red wine). I walk my dog an hour daily, i also excercise minimum 3x a week-swimming, bike, yoga, ocassional jogging, i we started with toning excercises this week. Still, i have lost only 2,5kg in a month! why is that? what should i do? No adverts, i wont buy any products. thanks

Update:

sorry, ive lost 1,5kg only

Update 2:

i think i need to lose weight, my bmi is over 28

Update 3:

I dont cook instant meals, i cook "normal and real" meals from real ingredients. So i know whats in my food :-) also it would be considered a shame if i told someone i use instant products, its not ususal in our country to eat that ****.

Well i had the same problem a while ago so what i did was this:

I wrote down all of the calories, sugar, fat and saturated fat that i ate in a day. I am a vegetarian so I always thought that i had a healthy diet but it turned out it was not as great as I thought. It wasn't really bad but it could have been better.

I bought an exercise bike and used it for at least half an hour every day.

I also stopped eating bread too.

Also, it sounds like you are doing a lot of muscle toning type things so and muscles weigh more than fat.

Finally, instead of weighing yourself try measuring yourself. This will give you a much better and accurate idea of how well its working. If none of this works then try thinking about if you actually need to lose weight? If you feel you are over weight and need to lose the weight but it just isn't coming off then maybe you have an under active thyroid. You doctor can do a test for that.

    Good luck!

The trick to losing weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Remember, drinks have calories. If you look at the labels some foods have more calories than you'd guess. Maybe it's the ingredients. There are so many additives and preservatives, fake sugars, "ose" sugars, gluten, MSG, trans fat, and other nasty chemicals in foods. Do a little research on what's in the foods you eat and make changes to your diet that you can live with. I hope this helps. :o)

2.5 kg in a month is actually pretty good! You are doing everything right, limiting your calories, eating healthy, exercising regularly. Keep at it. The rate you are losing weight at is healthy and to be expected.

okay first thats great about the veggies and water a gallon of water a day. a high fiber breakfast like kashi, egg whites. no fried foods no fast food no soda no candy. grilled chicken, grilled fish, steamed or grilled vegetables. eat 6 to 8 healthy meals a day. that will help speed up your metabolism, the more you eat the less your body stores.I have a great artice on my forum page of my web site discussing this and some great recipes.

You might be losing fat, but gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, which could be why you THINK you are not losing a lot.

Congrats on living very healthy. :)
