Itchy, red small bumps spreading over body
I was at six flags a couple of days ago (magic mountain) and I went to the "Hurricane Harbor" water park. Later that day on the way home my groin and underarms started to itch really bad. I took a look when I got home and there were small red bumps.
I didn't think much of it and went to bed. The next morning I still itched and it seemed to be spreading a little bit on my legs and chest. Now tonight It is still itching with red bumps.
Any idea what this is?
It is not an STD, I am a virgin.
I have already had chicken pox when I was 2

My first thought was poison ivy or poison oak. I would try hydra cortisone or preparation H to see if the itchiness and bumps go away. (yes I know hemorrhoid cream and yes I'm serious) Good luck

1. It could be a reaction to any medicine the Doc gave you for the Staph (if it started after you began meds for the staph). This is serious if it's an allergic reaction to medicine, as one day you might have a rash, but you also have that rash on the inside happening. The next day it could be a more severe reaction to the medicine. So, call your doc or go to the emergency room or a walk in clinic. 2. As long as you're not allergic to Benadryl, take one Benadryl pill every 4 - 6 hours until the rash goes away (stop using the medicine after 5 days and go to the Doc if the rash hasn't let up at all or began to fade away). You can use the generic Benadryl, the only difference is the delivery system (which actually can make a difference in most meds but generic Benadryl seems to work just fine). You also have the right to call your Doc and leave a message for him through his nurse, tell her what is happening, and ask any questions you have about it. Since your Doc has already seen you with this rash, he should be able to give his nurse the answers you need (and she would call you back with them). However, some Doc's prefer you to come back in instead of giving any advice or answers over the phone. You won't know how your Doc does it until you call and ask. Also buy some cheap oatmeal, a few bix boxes of it. Run a warm or cooling bath (not hot - not cold), dump a few boxes of oatmeal into the tub and soak in it for a half hour to an hour. Oatmeal for some reason really helps itching and other skin issues when you soak in it. Typically the reaction to nickle stays where the nickle was touching. I personally don't see it spreading all the way to your legs, arms, elbows.. all from a belt touching your waist. Nickle is typically just a surface allergic reaction. You sound as if you may have a more 'internal' allergic reaction or rash going on. Staph is indeed very serious, and I think you should really go back to your Doctor for a second look at the rash bothering you. At least call him and let him know how far it's spreading, how baddly it itches, and see what he wants you to do from there (also let him know YOU would like it DIAGNOSED and TREATED if at all possible). You my dear are having an entire body reaction, so call the Doc or just go to the ER and let the ER docs know about your staph infection, that's very important. Good luck, and stop itching it! Mrs. B

Maybe your allergic to chlorine?
It could be heat rash too..?
Or maybe contact dermatitis, I have eczema (a form of contact dermatitis) I break out in little red bumps..usually on my arms, thighs, stomach. I've had really bad break outs in the past where my entire body has been covered. I didn't develop this till I was about 13 or 14 either.
Try not to scratch it too much..it will spread it. You could try putting oatmeal on it to, to try and releive the itching. Go see a dermatologist.

it could be a heat rash. i went went camping last year and went swimming in the lake when it was 108 degrees. i got these little red bumps that kinds looked like tiny blisters. i found out it was heat rash. if that's what it looks like than just stay inside a couple days tell i goes away. you could have even caught some bug from someone else in the water. lets hope not, that would suck

No, its an allergy, try diprosone to put in your skin, take a warm shower with neutral soap, avoid perfumes and go with the dermatologist.

could be hives, heat rash or chicken pocks...i would go see a dermatologist before applying anything just in case it would irritate it further
