Am I wrong if I decide to do this with my check?

Last month my family added not a dime to the bills. My husband gives daughter money left and right, but gives me nothing. Am I being unfair? This month, when I get my check, I'm keeping it for myself. I only get $360 each month and last month my fhusband, daughter, and her boyfriend made me spend the whole $360 on bills. When I asked for money from any of them they would not give me a dime. They work and get a pay check every week. I'm unable to work, because of my seizures. Am I being unfair if I decide that this month I am not going to pay one bill and keep my money to myself this month so that I do not suffer like I did last month?

No you are not wrong. Your husband and daughter should let you keep that money on their own not force you to pay , 360 is hardly enough for a week let alone a month, tell them to stop being insensitive and that you need the money for yourself since they will not give you any.

Depends what do you think is suffering. Some people feel sorry for themselves, but actually don't see what they have infront of you. Maybe you should all organize a fair organized bill plan. But if your truly suffering there's nothing wrong with that. But if you have all the necessity things you really need in life you shouldn't look at it that way. (it also depends what your family is spending their money on as well. But goodluck and I hope you can figure it all out!

Why does your family have control of your finances? They can"make" you pay anything. Why don't you divide the expenses with them and that would leave you some money, while taking care of your obligations. If your taking orders from your daughters boyfriend, you need to contact an agency, and get some help for yourself.

Okay.. I see your side of things but on the other hand its unfair for them to have to pay all the bill by themselves when you contributing to running them up. If there is something you need to do with the money then explain it to them and maybe they will understand.

no thats not unfair for you to keep your money if they are not helping you if they were helping you with bill i would say yes it is unfair but screw them they live there to let them worry about the bills

No you deserve to keep money for yourself. There is no reason you should spend all of your money on bills and have nothing for yourself while they do.

Shame on all of them! Any adult living in your home should contribute to paying the bills or they should be asked to leave.

take your check go cash it and treat yourself you deserve it as for the rest of your family they should be ashamed of themselves especially your husband and tell your daughters boyfriend if he cant pay up then get lost

Yes, I would keep the check for myself. I would also tell everyone that was my plan. that way everyone knows your plan and don't ask for money from you.
