Is someone pranking the hockey forum on YA

Whats with all the off topic questions today? More off topic ones then Hockey ones.

Just to make this hockey related. What do you think about Scotty Bowman going to Chicago? How long before he is their coach?

In the off season there is always plenty of asinine questions. I guess it's just something that must be dealt with.

As far as the Bowman deal, I think it's a good thing for the Blackhawks. Few people know hockey better than Bowman and he is going to be quite an asset in helping them develop their young as well as current players. On coaching, I don't see him even considering that again. What is he, 74? I think he likes his role the way it is and if he wanted to coach again he would have had that opportunity in Detroit after the Dave Lewis fiasco. Obviously he didn't want to go that route.

I'm reluctant to give that much credit to anyone for "pranking" this category. All it takes is for Yahoo to start changing something that doesn't need changing and next thing you know we have a new "Twilight Zone" episode on our hands.

Personally, unless I can find a way to be funny about a miscategorized question, I stay away from them.

Yahoo has been known to send employees out in search of violatable content. Getting wise-assed remarks is just what they are looking for. It's bad enough that they try to get us to do their job of moderating this site, so I don't help them in that endeavor in any way.

I think the Scotty Bowman move is a good one. He will certainly help the Blackhawks.

Sandman, you do realize that you can change where the question goes right? dumbass...

Bowman will be good for chicago. Having people like that around to share their knowledge vastly improves the management of the organization.

i didnt notice that until you said something. i think it has something to do with the new answer format..ive noticed my questions are placed under veryy random suggested categories, and most people dont realize it and just click away

i had a baseball question that fell under Society & Culture, and one fell under Women's Health lol

so idk if its a government plan to ruin the Y!A Hockey section, or just some kinks in the new answering format

and as for Bowman i think he would be a good fit there..its nice hes working with his kid and with a historic franchise like Chicago. i think he can help turn that team around

You should've seen yesterday, it was 10 times worse. It is a glitch that happened when Microsoft; (The new owners of Yahoo) tried to fix Yahoo, it ened up like this.

I say 2 years, he is getting old and will retire soon.

  • No one is pranking us, it's actually a virtual carnival where the freaks come out at night (and at day) and we all have fun f*cking with them.

Bowman won't be their coach, but I was kind of surprised to see him go there.

I blame Rupert Murdoch. I know he had nothing to do with this but it's just fun to blame stuff on him.

He won't be their coach. I think it's great that he's being close to his kid.

Maybe - I notice that a lot of the "technical" questions being asked were from accounts that were created today...That makes me suspicious that this is not all accidental...

    Nope, Y!A is just retarded.
