Has the Cultures section turned into a dumping ground for racist, mean spirited, shallow people who ...?

Yep. The same goes for Gender & Women's Studies. Right now there are a bunch of posts about how dumb we are and when we're going to contribute something to society.

It's funny how people grow a pair when they get behind the computer. LOL.

I couldn't agree more! Not just on YA, but throughout the internet. Some people just become so shallow that they completely lose touch with real world, or with how society even works anymore. They're too caught up with their online world/life.

The people are still out here that have the intelligence; the problem is the younger crowd getting on and having nothing but ignorance for answers making them antagonize with stupidity.

You have to sift through these answers and understand their reality just as we do when driving our car and knowing sure enough that stupid persons are all around us.

Fold em' up! Just hit the button yahoo gives to delete them off your screen. There will always be racist, mean spirited, and shallow people but, fortunately, there are more good persons in the world to defeat them.

Aag you know ! The sh!t started long ago ! It was a sad day for me when Poepies left and since then the racial stuff snowballed so fast .....! Then the violations came and is still deleting my stuff.....Face-book is non -existing.....White flag day is gone .....It seems as if this is one of those things that will deteriorate with everything else in this country ! It realy is not as exciting as it used to be around here !

EXACTLY! the C&G section SHOULD be a place where people ASK a good question about groups they're curious about or need information about in some way or another. Yahoo has specific rules for people who have ranting & raging problems...

There are alot of MEAN evil people & they're there in real life as well. it's sad. but the good thing is that GOODNESS will always triumph!

Their are some people in this world who sit in caves trying to get revenge on one particular race because their sister got pounded but theirs some normal people who live in the city.

ok well this is the c&g sections so obviously people who have questions or are curious about other groups are going to come here- good and bad. i believe racists have come here since the beginning. after a while, negative posts start to sound repetitve so they don't offend anymore. the thing that annoys me are people who won't contribute any advice or knowledge and ONLY want to attack other member's comments and vent their racist views in every question(no names mentioned lol)
