Crumble topping recipe?

I am looking for a good recipe that people have tried out themselves for crumble topping. The measurements need to be in cups and should not include rolled oats. Many recipes include this but I find it is nicer without them. Thank you!

    1 cup flour

1/2 cup softened butter (let it sit at room temp. for about 30 min)

3/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark, both work fine)

Cut softened butter into flour and brown sugar, mixing until it crumbles. Place on top of pie filling.

quite easy, right? And it comes out absolutely delicious.

    Simple Crumble Mix

1/2 cup of butter (room temperature)

    1/2 cup of sugar

    1/2 cup of flour

Place ingredients into a bowl, then cut together with a pastry cutter until crumbly. Top desired dessert and cook as you normally would. Delicious!

I'm quite fond of a crumbly crunchy topping, so I normally opt for oats in my topping. Alternatively, I love:

    1 part flour

    1 part butter

    1 part brown sugar

    1 part crushed hazelnuts

Instead of using caster sugar try demarera sugar and add half cup of dessicated coconut to the mixture
