Does anyone out there still think Obama is Islamic?
Is anyone that stupid or is that rumor finally gone for good?

I can't say as if I ever believed that. Any serious candidate for President of the United States has been at least nominally Christian. The greatest deviations from the norm in recent memory have been JFK's Catholicism and Joe Lieberman as a Jewish vice-presidential candidate.
Now, Obama has greater sympathy for the Muslim community than many others, although this is a matter of understanding the difference between American Muslims who are fond of America and the extremists such as the Wahhabi sect which militantly despises all foreign influence, the United States being the most visible and lashed out against.
He gets flak for not following populist rhetoric there very well.

Okay, BE HONEST HERE... I'm obviously a strong Republican. However, I have a lot of Democrat friends and we
often discuss politics. Many of the Democrats I know and their parents(mostly) will NOT vote for Obama because he's black or they feel that he has terrorist ties. They are usually older and I'm not sure how informed they are. They said they will sit it out if he became the nominee or vote McCain. They are afraid of what will happen if a black man gets into office. These are DEMOCRATS who say this, not myself so don't try pulling the race card on me. I want to know honestly, how many of you will not vote for Obama because he is a black or a Muslim (even though we know he probably isn't a muslim)

My decision IS Made up.. I'm a McCain supporter ALL THE WAY.. Wouldn't give Obama the time of day as he is NOT qualified.
Just because you don't like what you hear doesn't mean I'm making it up and the polls do not have Obama ahead it's actually very neck and neck so you better start watching the news more or something.

Also, let me say that color has NOTHING to do with my vote.. If I had my way, Condi would be running and she and all her blackness would have my vote.

If he was born to a father who was part of Islam, THEY consider him Islamic, by tradition, by Islamic law.
If he was registered as a child as Islamic or Muslim, then he is considered such for the same reason.
Once part of Islam, always part of Islam.
It doesn't matter what he says, or what church he goes to now.
He could pass a lie detector test, and they would still consider him Islamic in Islamic countries.
That one banner will be a symbol to millions to come take America.
It's just not a smart idea.
I'm not happy about it. I'm a democrat. But my family was formally of Islam before I was born (thank goodness they left before I was born), and although they are in the same situation, I'm free of it.
Educate yourselves, folks. Actually read the Quran and other holy books of Islam. Look at all sides of the issue.

He's not Islamic. Even if he was, as long as he isn't extreme in extolling his beliefs and is a great candidate (more particularly in respect to having a great economic policy), then that's all that matters.

No I don't, but I d think he will be more sympathetic to Muslim countries than past Presidents--except Carter. In his books he has stated as much.

As a child he was raised as a muslim.........Lets hope he has no neonatal tendencies. As for Obamacons nothing is much of a shock for them.......Oh he's a terrorist....we knew it all along. Dead heads.

IF THEY DO THEY ARE POOR LOST SOULS.
IF A TRUE ISLAMIC EXTREEMIST WERE TO PORTRAY HIMSELF AS A CHRISTIAN HE WOULD FIND HIMSELF ON A JIHADISTS HIT LIST

I listen to a lot of talk radio, and there seem to be plenty of callers that still believe it. But that's what happens when you get your news exclusively from Fox, and talk radio.

Only knuckledragging Repulicans who think, like the idiots they watch on Fox news, that if you repeat a lie enough people will believe it.
