Spiritually Speaking, is this not cause to rejoice?

After successfully retrieving my runaway hobbled horses I went for a ride. I spotted two Golden eagles just out wind sailing, scattered a mother duck and her brood of 7 ducklings next to the canal, startled up a 4 point buck, still in the velvet, in the wheat field, and had an exhilarating gallop. My only concern about death is that Heaven won't be as good as this life.

Have you had cause to rejoice today?

Update:

(((((kychick & Josh)))))

kychick - I dream of a finished garden, but that is still a dream. :)

Josh - that's so great you can work from home. My days at home are coming to an end as school draws closer. That maybe why I appreciate so much the days I have.

Thank you for your great replies. :)

Update 2:

kychick - I looked for your question but I think it already had a BA? Next time. :)

Update 3:

Jacob - Santa Barbara is one of my top 5 places to go! You just can't beat breakfast at Anderson's Cafe! I was living in Port Hueneme prior to moving to UT and SB was a regular weekend hang out. This weekend I'm headed to Jackson Hole, but Santa Barbara is the next best place to be! Have a great time!

Hi Tory, I liked this question so much, I came back with my second account to read it again. I know the "Heaven" question is closed. I was talking about some of the lovely answers given. A lot of them about Heaven being natural. Many worth reading if you have the time.

To answer your question, yes...this is a reason to rejoice. Would be Heaven on earth for me!!!

PS) Some time I will tell you about my annual fall trip to Cumberland Lake. Breathtaking. A garden is always a work in progress. :)

No, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night!

Seriously, I'm about to head out for a walk with my kids, working from home allows me to conduct some of my business in very relaxing circumstances. If I'm on a long phone call explaining what type of production requirements I should be designing someone's product for I'm most often pushing a stroller or laying down with my feet in the water of my pool.

Nephi teaches us that men are that they might have joy.

I think the rejoicing you feel is your sensory skills combined with your love of God and security in the spirit - in other words this is only a small taste of what we may one day experience.

I'm going camping in Santa Barbara (about an hour north of Los Angeles) this weekend and It always just reminds me of how beautiful the earth is if we look for it. From the desert to the ocean and mountains its all beautiful. It seems like so much of heaven is our realization of whats been around us all the time.

Wow Tory, I would give anything to be in your shoes today. Like you, I love nature.

I have reasons to rejoice every day. I am married to the man of my dreams. We are both fairly healthy. We have a roof over our head, food on the table, five wonderful children, six grandchildren. A little money in the bank. We are truly blessed!

I did spend time in my garden this morning. One of my favorite things to do. I saw colorful butterflies drifting above my flowers. I have a small animal sanctuary. My little squirrels were waiting for me with bibs on when I brought their food. My red cardinals (Carl and Carla) were happy to see me also.

Tory, you need to look at my "What would be Heaven for you" question. Like you, I hope Heaven will be a place of perfect, natural beauty. Hun, I believe it will be. :)

Thank you for the lovely question

It's been too hot here to enjoy long rides - but with my strplng warriors going back to school next week [and there was much rejoicing in the land] I should have more time to exercise the ponies...
