Anyone else getting p!$$ed off that the price of oil is dropping, and...

...the greedy bastard gas station owners aren't dropping the price of gas accordingly? Be clear... it's not the oil companies controlling gas prices at the pumps... it's the gas station owners themselves gouging us consumers... anyone else getting a little mad about it?

You are dead wrong. Gas station owners are not at fault. They operate on a few cents a gallon over there cost. Most make there money on pop, gum etc. Or repair if they have a shop. Thats why you never see just a gas station anymore. They would go broke.I have a very good friend who showed me this. He has a station. Sometimes he even loses a few cents a gallon if you pay by credit card. He has repair garage and mini mart to make his money . He also has one full service island that is higher than the posted price to help pay for the attendant. You need to do more research and see whats really going on, Buy the way gas has went down about 60 cents a gallon in my town the last 10 days. It can be had at some stations for 3.49 gal. it may not last but every little bit helps........ujn

Source(s): I went to a station owner and ask and he's been in bussiness 30 years

No I don't. I did get somewhat upset when the price went down 5 cents on the afternoon I bought in the morning. Then I thought that this was about one dollar and I probably got more gas in the morning than in the hot afternoon and felt better!!!

You have no idea what you're talking about. There is plenty of competition between gas station owners, and no way they could realistically gouge customers in most locations.

the fuel in the tank at the station was purchased with the higher price and they have to charge what they paid for the tankful and then they will drop the price when they get a new shipment in
