okay so i was late for my period and when i did have my period it was lighter then usual n shorter as well.........i've been having pregnancy symtoms for the past couple of weeks can taking the home pregnancy test while i was on my period effected the results?

U might have been having implantation bleeding so if u took the test then u would of gotten a false negative...wait til ur next period is due and test again.

It shouldn't as the pregnancy test checks for HCG in the urine, which is only present if you are pregnant.
