That is a fast computer but not for games.
I would suggest a macintosh computer they last very long time you don't have to worry about viruses spy-ware etc... and they are almost perfect for everything you need

The Dual Core processor is a new feature to many computers ad the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card is an exceptionally top-of-the-shop graphics card, which can be confirmed by many electronics stores such as Currys etc. Although the 3GB memory is lacking, the 500 GB hard drive combines with it to make 503 GB, which is a large storage capacity. Compare 503 GB with 16 GB which is what most USB memory sticks go up to.

Good RAM (3 GB memory) allowing you to do a lot of things...500 GB hard drive HUGE allowing you to store a crapload of stuff AMD athlon stuff...good, pretty good...BUT the Nvidia card is not that good, unless you arent gaming, watching movies or lookin at some pics...I highley suggest you get like a Nvidia 8000 or up Card then you will have a good computer!

Its good for everything except gaming. the processor is a cheap dual core, but as long as you aren't too demanding it'll be fine. the graphics are integrated and suck, but are perfectly adequate for web surfing, writing papers, watching movies, etc. the hard drive is a decent size and while I'd much rather have 4gb of ram than 3, it won't hurt you in most tasks. Mac and linux aren't immune to viruses, its just that they have so little market share that no one bothers to come up with nasty stuff for them, while windows dominates the market and quite a few hackers target windows out of sheer spite toward microsoft.

that's a pretty good computer, better then the average, plays some high tech games, an all around computer I'd say.
Your computer = good
Btw this is to most people, when people talk about memory, its referring to Random access memory (RAM)
3 GB is actually great, the fastest for a personal computer is 8GB servers are about 16GBs.
the average computer that runs vista Today has 1-2 GBs
so your Ram is actually above sort of average.

That is a good computer for must people. If you are going to be using it for high end gaming maybe not so much, but otherwise it should work well. I would use Linux because it is safe and can not be infected with viruses or spyware. you can get it here http://www.ubuntu.com/ any questions feel free to ask......Baseballplyer40@yahoo.com
