As an American, are you ever tempted to apologize to others for President Bush?

Update:

Baddy, I've never really encountered people who judge me for him. However, in my travels I do get asked once in a while if I voted for him, and on occasion get asked how people voted for him.

For the most part people distinguish Americans from our government.

No.The only thing that you need to apologize for is being american.

Edit.........Oh by the way,I am English but,it does say "open question" and for all those (american) that do not understand what that means,it means that anyone may answer.

Hey, "Dude," here's a masturbatory fantasy for you to work with: imagine that all we Amis have been illegalized, imprisoned in death camps and it's YOUR JOB to kill us all, as well as wipe out our culture, as efficiently as possible (to please your muslim overlords, of course). Now-will that sufficient for the time being?

Yes, as a thinking American, even though I never voted for him or his appalling father 10 years earlier, I do apologize for the 8 years of Geo. W. and I apologize for the fact that he was voted in 2x. However, when he was voted in again in 2004, we were still reeling from the first attack on American soil since 1941. Oops, I think "Dude" may have just climaxed.

No, I never feel I have to apologize for something out of my control.

I live in Hungary and once in a while people will ask me if I like Bush.

I never voted for either him or his father.

I just make light of it and tell them Bush in a Bunko, they laugh and it's over.

Bunko in Hungarian means a log head.
